Something significant happened in the sky this past Friday.

Saturn and Neptune met in an alignment called a conjunction at 0° Aries. This is an alignment that only happens every 36 years, and hasn't occurred at this particular point in hundreds of years. This isn't just another transit. When two outer planets meet — they are the slow-moving giants of our solar system that govern generational and collective shifts — it marks the opening of a completely new cycle for all of us. The last time these two planets met (in Capricorn), long-standing structures that once seemed immovable began to break down, clearing space for new ones.

Here's one way to understand this combination: Saturn is the planet of structure, commitment and what we're willing to build over time. Neptune is the planet of vision, fantasy and what we dream is possible. As they meet in Aries, the cardinal fire sign of new beginnings and bold action, we are being invited to stop waiting and start making something real out of what we've imagined so far. Cardinal fire moves fast and inspired. “Just Do It” is appropriate for Aries.

When the Sun moves into Aries on March 20, don't be surprised if you feel like an accelerant has been turned on. In the meantime, we are moving through an extra watery Pisces season, letting go of what we no longer need and preparing ourselves for the new beginnings awaiting each of us in Aries.

This is the energy of: I know what I'm being called to. Now I build it.

This is the sweetest aspect of the week. Venus trine Jupiter brings warmth, generosity and an expanded sense of what's possible in love, creativity, and abundance. It's a good period to pray for what you need, reach out, connect, express appreciation, or take a soft step toward something that genuinely excites you. Get into your creative flow while this is still strong — and enjoy it, but watch for excess.

🌀 Mercury Retrograde in Pisces
Slowing Down and Letting Go Before New Beginnings in Aries | Stations retrograde Thursday, February 26

We're already in shadow territory, which means Mercury themes — messages, planning, contracts — are up for review. Expect people to take longer to get back to you, and be prepared to revisit or rethink something in the area of your chart where Pisces is. The mind is poetic, more dreamy and more inward than usual right now. Miscommunications are likely. Old conversations and unfinished business are surfacing. This is a window to revisit, reflect and revise rather than push forward. In a reading, we'd look at which area of your chart Mercury retrograde is activating and what that means for the next few weeks. Impulsive Actions Fueled by the Urge to Break Free | Peaks Friday, February 27, but building now

This aspect brings sudden impulses, restlessness and the urge to shake loose what feels constraining. It's electric and unpredictable. Watch for people making impulsive decisions, especially around money, resources or long-standing routines. Keep calm and carry on. This energy is better channeled into intentional disruption than reactive ones. If you have strong fixed sign placements in Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or Leo, you'll likely be feeling this the most as the week builds.
