How to surrender ✨

I'm a skeptic that needs to see results or evidence before I believe. So when I felt called to work with a somatic and ancestral lineage healer this weekend, it was after watching her work for quite some time. I went in willing, but also cautious.

Somatic healing works through the nervous system, addressing the places in the body where stress and unresolved experience accumulate and get stored over time. My lower back has been carrying things for years. I went to physical therapy a few years ago and have been managing at home, but it hasn't been enough to relieve the sense of heavy burdens I've been carrying there. To be honest, I just hadn't been willing or invested in the health of my physical body enough to hand that completely over to someone else's process.

But this is Pisces season, and one of its lessons is releasing what no longer serves. The other is surrender. So I showed up, followed her lead, and stayed even when I started to get fussy, tired and frustrated.

She sensed my frustration and kept saying: trust the process.

I'm so glad I trusted her process. My lower back feels different. I didn't realize how much I was still holding there.

What I took from this is that I am finally seeing what it means to surrender. I also learned that you don't always need to understand how something works to let it work on you.

What I see in this chart ✨

This is the first New Moon in Pisces in years without Neptune or Saturn in the sign. The fogginess and heaviness that's defined Pisces season for years is lifting. What you release under this moon has somewhere to go as we prepare for Aries season.

Jupiter in Cancer is also a major player. Cancer rules our internal sense of home and belonging, and Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Our capacity for abundance and inner security is growing again now that Jupiter is moving direct. Where we feel unsafe or unsettled may be louder too.

A few things stand out:

Your body already knows. If you've been waiting to feel certain before you move, notice that pattern. This chart is not asking for certainty. It is asking you to trust what you feel and move from there.

Relationships are active. Venus is in Aries. Desire is direct, sometimes impatient and sometimes reactive. Mars is in Pisces. Action is coming from feeling, not always from clear judgment. Pay attention to what you want and how others are moving around you. Not everything that feels urgent right now needs to be acted on.

The wisdom arriving may not look how you expect. It can come through music, dreams, images, your body, small signals you might usually ignore. Follow it, but stay grounded in how it feels in your body.

The shadow to watch ✨

The shadow to watch is the Virgo undertow. This will express as the need to control outcomes, over-analyze, or the inability to release until every question is answered.

When you feel that grip tighten, that's your signal. That is where the surrender is being asked.

If words like faith and surrender feel uncomfortable, I understand. I know what its like to be skeptical. You do not need the language. Just find the place where you are holding on and loosen your grip. Unclench.

The Sun moves into Aries and Mercury stations direct in Pisces on Friday. The waiting game is almost over. Things are going to start moving quickly.

Mercury and the North Node are traveling together, so significant messages and developments are arriving this week and next. Stay receptive.

Mercury clears its retrograde path on April 9th, around the same time Mars moves into Aries. To me, that is when this extended Pisces season fully closes.
