Hi Friends,

Spring is around the corner. If you have not stopped to smell the flowers this week, I implore you to pump your brakes for a moment. As you pause, take the opportunity to be still and observe what you sense and feel about your inner world and external circumstances. Do you feel the change energy in the air? Transit Mars in Aquarius is moving through a tense square with Uranus in Taurus. If you are feeling more restless and agitated this energy will start to subside next week.

The Pisces new moon on March 10th invites us to be more introspective and to seek time to ourselves for meditation and prayer. Once the sun moves into Aries on March 19th, it may feel as though we have been vacuumed into a new timeline. Life moves fast in Aries season and the pace will accelerate again with a Libra lunar eclipse on March 25th. Use these upcoming weeks to prepare yourself.

Divining a New Dream: Pisces New Moon

The new moon in Pisces takes place on Sunday, March 10th at approximately 5:00 a.m. ET (adjust for your timezone). During this dark phase of the lunar cycle, the sun and moon sit closely next to each other in the sky and extend a cosmic invitation to us to sit in solitude and introspection. As we go inwards into ourselves we start a “new journey, make a fresh start and engage in other forward-looking initiatives.” [Dima Gur Astrology Online, 2019].

The lunation occurs in the zodiac sign of Pisces prompting us to reflect on and accept what we have manifested with the Pisces energy we yield. In her book, “Astrology A Cosmic Science,” Isabel M. Hickey describes Pisces energy in this way:

“The symbol of the sign is an interesting one to study; two fish, tied together. In Pisces one fish swims downstream representing the personality, the other fish swimming upstream represents the soul. Either the soul captures the personality and it becomes the servant, or the soul is bound and made captive by the personality.”

“Pisces is the most sensitive [and one of the most creative] signs of the zodiac. When Pisceans are connected with their inner source of their Being, they are capable of great achievements. However, [w]hen they are not connected, their way of escape is often through outlets like alcohol or drugs.”

“Freedom for Pisces comes through developing a spiritual life.”

Pisces is associated with the liminal space between this world and the spiritual one. It is the metacosmic place through which we process and purge our subsconscious collective karma. In Pisces, we tend to “feel most alive in deep communion with ongoing energies and emotions that bring out [our] highest self-expression.” (Molly McCord, Awakening Astrology, 2022). We are soft and malleable in Pisces and we have to be careful not to become so ungrounded that we get lost in escapism and “victim consciousness”. We can easily feel overwhelmed by the cares of this world under a Pisces moon. One key to transmute it is to accept circumstances for what they currently are with clarity, acceptance and hope.

One of the things I love the most about Pisces is that it gives us the opportunity to dream big dreams and ground them in the real world. As our Pisces energy evolves, we learn and accept that deferred dreams are either cleared out or crystallized and made manifest.

Where you have Pisces in your birth chart corresponds to the area of life where you are closing one of more chapters and manifesting new ones. It is where you are gaining clarity about what aspirations are actually aligned for you now.

New Moon Readings

Pisces Rising
Your new dream is about you and your purpose in this world. You want to be free and you find it when you surrender to your highest spiritual calling. The opportunity to define your dharma is here, but also be clear how you intend to show up energetically in your 1:1 relationships. Open up just enough to receive the messages that will show how to find the material resources you need to go on the journey you seek.

Aries Rising
It has been hard to see your vision in the past, but the series of limitations that have cropped up out of nowhere show you the hidden frustration. You want to show up more authentically as a leader in your career and at home. You are being supported to find new networks and groups of friends that will help bring structure and routine to your daily life to help you get there. Continue to be receptive to the messages you are receiving. Look to see what comes up for you in relationships during the Libra lunar eclipse to see how you are doing.

Taurus Rising
Your dream pertains to the support you receive from your friends. You are ending things with some of your groups of friends and finding new long-term stable creative partnerships. Your desire for career transformation is palpable and you are relying on new friends to get you there. Look to where the resources show up as the indication of what is meant to support you.

Gemini Rising
The dream is the vision for your career. As you learn to love following and keeping to a system, your lofty goals will be stabilized. You are also ending self-sabotaging behavior that has previously impacted your career goals. Look to all the Aries friends who have popped up into your life since last year as an indicator of the kind of messenger you aspire to be. Keep nurturing your home and your home life. It is a wonderful source of support.

Cancer Rising
Have you been dreaming of travel to new horizons or want to pursue a new course of study or spiritual development? You have got a big passion project to pursue and potential great partnership opportunities. To see them clearly continue to detox yourself of any doubts that your dreams of security are well-within reach. One of your biggest superpowers is your inventiveness, use it.

Leo Rising
You dream of being the king of your life, but the only way you will rightfully assume the throne is through opening up your heart to yourself and others. You are transforming your significant partnerships and breaking free from some old way of sharing resources with others. One of your greatest gifts is your mobility and that you are open to new forms of communication. Use that energy to find new partners and ideas to help you protect your assets. If you are already doing this, you’ve been in energetic flow. If you haven’t, look for messages from above to point you in the right direction.

Virgo Rising
It is time to put yourself first and take care of your health. How else are you going to nurture your dream of healing the world if you are burnt out? You are detoxifying your life of people, place and things that have not been good for your wellness and day-to-day routines. Support for you will come through elders and leaders. Just watch for new gurus springing out of the blue asking for your financial support. You can be impulsive about sharing your resources with others so please take a more careful approach this time.

Libra Rising
Libra you can have the relationships you dream of so continue to roll up your sleeves and do the hard work. Part of the labor needed to restore the balance is to accept that some things have just not worked out the way in which you expected them. Continue to purge your old ways of showing up in relationship. With the upcoming lunar eclipse in your sign you will see the fruits of your labor to date. Be direct and assertive about what you want as this eclipse season pushes you to see that the only way to achieve your dream is to change your thinking around what makes you feel insecure.

Scorpio Rising
Your new dream is about your highest calling here on earth. If you are seeing an improvement in your overall vitality its because you have been sensitive to the drive to move your body and live a healthier lifestyle. Continue to open up emotionally. You have intense stamina, so you can do this, but you also need your emotional depth for this journey. Lean into optimism. You always have a home.

Sagittarius Rising
Its time to make that move friend because your new dream is about a shakeup in your inner temple and external home situation. You are bossing up by establishing better routines at work and in your day-to-day life so that you can spend more time learning, traveling and exploring the world the way you desire and with a more holistic and diverse inspiration. Be courageous and take the creative leap of faith that will help serve as the spark to a new vision.

Capricorn Rising
Hello my dear friend, is that you shedding an old skin? Your new dream involves a transformation to your physical, mental and emotional environment. You are catalyzing your creativity by purging an old livelihood. A new spiritual teacher, regimens and routines will help you to explore new horizons related to your evolving beliefs. If you get stuck reinventing yourself, remember that the key is to do it differently than before.

Aquarius Rising
The new dream pertains to a new form of currency and how you make your money. You are purging old ways of viewing your material resources and cultivating a new security.
