The key phrase for Leo is “I Will.” 

Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac. Governed by the sun in astrology, it is a fixed fire sign associated with our external expression. Leo is where we develop personality, flex our ego and champion ourselves. It is where we radiate in our creative purpose.

It symbolizes charisma, confidence, passion, purpose, faith, loyalty, bravery, how we live with intention and love with an open heart. Leo represents natural leaders, performers and protectors. It also rules the heart, solar plexus, spine and upper back.

This realization reflects Leo’s journey: embracing our inner strength through actions, not just desires.

Children, too, mirror Leo’s qualities. They live vividly in the moment, embracing life with pure joy and without seeking external approval—embodying the Leo spirit of creating, playing, and performing with an “unquestioning trust in life” (Steven Forrest, The Inner Sky).
