Hi Friends,

One of my kids had a bad dream last night. He came to me this morning, gave me a big hug and then we snuggled while he told me the scary details. Once he was done telling me about it, he popped back up and kept it moving. He ate breakfast and went to school, calm, unburdened and ready for his day.

The moon is full in Scorpio today, and my kid’s bad dream reminds me that under the bright light of a Scorpio moon, fears are forced to come to the surface so that we can face them.

The sun is in Taurus, so a lot of the fears pertain to whether we are comfortable and stable in our lives. There is a heightened sense of security or insecurity around whether we have what we need.

What has been a focal point of your attention these last few weeks? If your mind has been on your money, resources, comfort - anything like that, you are tapped into the solar consciousness of Taurus season.

The beauty of a Scorpio full moon is that we get to release. We have the opportunity to work with Scorpio to transmute fear into empowerment.

So, if you have feelings that you need to face, this is an optimal time to look at them squarely. This is also a good time to unwind. Work with the Scorpio areas of the body, like the pelvis, sacrum and lower abdomen, to release any pent up energy that can get stuck in the body if not properly channeled.

Watching my child pop back up after talking about his nightmare got me musing about what it means to be resourced in any given moment. He was full enough to feel something fearful, face it, talk it through and keep it moving.

I love this time of year because Taurus season is one of the most fertile for growing what we desire and want to keep. The things we plant, tend, share sunlight with and water over time now are valuable. To say it another way, whatever we grow patiently now, whether that’s a better way of budgeting our money, a wellness routine, or a literal crop of plants, has the potential to harvest beautifully in the Fall.
